The pictures were taken in the city of Munich at Isar, Theresienwiese, the English Garden and the Botanical Garden. When my attention is captured by leaves I often remember the following haiku: "Roses: The flowers are easy to paint, the leaves difficult". Leaves show a wide diversity in terms of form and interplay with their surrounding. What have they been through and how do they deal with weather extremes and mechanical stress. What is happening with them at life's end after they fall down and rot away?
